Washu - Washu was trapped in another dimension but Mihoshi stumbles on this tiny universe and awakens Washu. Washu is the creator of both Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki, and sees herself as Ryoko's mother. She thinks of herself as the greatest genius in the universe. She’s always doing experiments or creating cool gadgets in her tiny room which is huge once you enter it. She’s even mastered inter-dimensional travel.
Her Japanese name is spelled Washyuu. She is really eccentric, and cute. She likes being referred to as "Little Washu". Washu was once a goddess who lived deep in space and is really over 20,000 years old.
