Summary: Shade is the runt of the silverwing bat colony. During his winter migration he gets lost in a storm. He he wakes up he is alone and must find his colony by himself. During the books he meets new friends....and foes! Will Shade ever make it to his destination and see his colony again? You'll have to read the book to find out.
Recommendations: This book deals a lot with the subject of growth. I think a child would really like this book but adults can also read it. Until April see ya!
